Shipping
The goods will be sent from the Martinus Institute as a “maxi-letter” or package via Post Danmark. The shipping price will be calculated on the basis of the total weight of the package and the destination.
In order not to damage the symbols, we have to send each symbol measuring either 50 x 65 cm or 42 x 29.7 cm (A3) in a separate package. Symbols with these measurements should therefore be ordered separately, that is to say, not in the same order as books, so that we can calculate the postage correctly.
The web shop provides an estimate of the shipping price. You will, however, be invoiced for only the precise postage, so if a package is cheaper to send than estimated, you will be invoiced for only the precise postage, which will then be withdrawn from your account. No amounts higher than those calculated by the shop will be withdrawn from your account. The estimated shipping cost can be seen when placing an order or in the shopping basket.
Alternatively, the goods can be collected at the Martinus Institute during normal opening hours except during the high season in the summer, when the goods can be collected from the Martinus Centre in Klint. If you collect the goods, no postage will be charged.
Delivery
The Martinus Institute will send the goods within 2 to 5 days. Packages and letters to Denmark will typically arrive the day after posting. Delivery time to foreign destinations is usually longer. See www.postdanmark.dk for further information about delivery times to foreign destinations.
Payment
You can pay by Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA, VISA Elektron or Mastercard. If you pay by credit or debit card, we will withdraw the amount from your account when we post your goods. You will receive a receipt for payment with your goods.
We use a so-called SSL connection to ensure that no one else can “listen in” when your card number and other data is transferred via the internet, so you run no risk by using your credit or debit card in shop.martinus.dk. The Martinus Institute does not receive your card details at any time, since that part of the shopping process goes through a certified payment gateway.
When you pay via the internet you are in a better legal position that you are when using many other means of payment. When you pay by card, you can get your money back 1) if the goods are not delivered, 2) if you use your right to withdraw from the transaction and refuse to receive the goods, 3) if money has been withdrawn from your account without your permission. The issuer of the card (usually your bank) has to return your money no later than 2 days after your claim.
